TERMS AND CONDITIONS
• This official event is open to all Competitive Swimmers who are registered in the SNZ database.
• Entries close Sunday 5th October at 11:59pm. Entries must be submitted on-line through Fastlane – no late entries will be accepted. Ice Breakers reserve the right to close entries early if competitor numbers reach 180 swimmers.
• Entry fee is $8.50 per event with a limit of 5 events. Age as at 12th October 2025.
• Ice Breaker Aquatics reserve the right to limit entries or change the programme. If session times are too long. 200m events may be limited to the top 18 seeded swimmers.
• This meet will be swum under SNZ/World Aquatics and local rules. All events will be swum as mixed gender timed finals. Marshalling will be in place.
• No refunds for scratchings will be considered after the psych sheets have been compiled, unless accompanied by a medical certificate.
• Clubs are required to provide one Timekeeper for every four swimmers entered.
• An official photographer may be present.
• This flyer, psych sheet and results will be available on the Swimming Manawatu website.
• Ice Breaker Aquatics will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury incurred during the meet.
Results
Ribbons will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the following age groups:
• 25m events – 8 & under, 9/10 years
• 50m events – 8 & under, 9/10 years, 11/12 years, 13/14 years, 15 & over
• 100m events – 10 & under, 11/12 years, 13/14 years, 15 & over
• 200m events – 12 & under years, 13/14 years & 15 & over
Overall age group points winner(s) will be recognised with a large Age Group Champion ribbon – this will be calculated from the 5 swims and FINA points will be used in the event of a tie. 25m events DO NOT count towards age group points except for the 8 and under- age group
