Club gazebos/tents may be erected at the facility on Friday afternoon after 4pm.
We have 250m swimmers this weekend, which means parking will be at a premium, please be courteous in the carpark and expect to walk to the gates rather than stopping in the gateway to let swimmers disembark. There will be spaces reserved for Swimming Manawatu key personnel, please leave these empty if not in use. Disability parking is also available but limited. It is fabulous to see a growing number of para swimmers attending this event.
There is no warm-up or down water available during the sessions of the meet. If anyone wants access to the indoor pools they will need to book in advance and/or pay public entry fees to be indoors.
Manawatu Clubs are required to provide timekeepers as follows for every session:

Please can clubs provide names for these timekeepers before Friday. If any travelling clubs have IOT’s etc with them wanting to spend some time on our pool deck, please see the referee at the beginning of sessions.
Please note the scratching rules in the flier:
SNZ Policy 008 will apply. Scratchings from all events must be received before the conclusion of the preceding session. Session 1 scratchings must be received by 7pm the preceding (Friday) evening. The scratching penalty fee is $50.00. The protest fee will be $100.00.
If anyone has any changes etc, please have them to manswim.racing@gmail.com before 5pm Wed 28th January, along with ALL relay names.
- Entry is via the SNZ database, closing time for entries is 10:00pm on 26 January 2026. Relay entries close 27 January 2026 at 6:00pm.
- ENTRY FEES: $8.50 per event must be received prior to the meet.
- Times are required for all events.
- Multi Class swimmers are not required to meet qualifying times however a time must be supplied.
- All swimmers must be financial competitive members of SNZ.
- Pool will be open from 8.15am for morning sessions and 2.15pm for afternoon sessions – spectators free.
- One dive / sprint lane will be available for all of warm up.
- No water is available for either warm up or warm down during the sessions.
- Conducted under World Aquatics, SNZ and local Rules.
- All participants must agree to comply with the Sports Anti-Doping Rules.
- All Events TIMED FINALS

- Refunds will be made up to 28 January 2026, thereafter on production of a Medical Certificate presented on the day.
- Age is at the first day of championships – 31 January 2026.
- 400m events may be restricted to fastest 28 swimmers only.
- A 10 minute break may be held half way through each session.
- Swimming Manawatu reserves the right to alter the programme and to limit entries should the need arise.
- Results will be published in Age Group format: 8yrs & under, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 & over and Open Para. Medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place getters in each age group. In the age groups 8yrs & under, 9, 10, 11 and 12 years ONLY, two visitors medals will be awarded.
- Medals must be collected by the Team Manager.
- Relay events are 4 x 100m, there is no entry fee for relays.
- Time Trials ($20.00 fee) may be accepted at the discretion of the Swimming Manawatū, and only if lane space is available – heats will not be reseeded. Applications will be accepted on a first in basis.
- Manawatu trophies awarded: Keith OIiver Cups Boys and Girls 9 Years; Clough Cup – Boys 8 Years; Rolle Cup – girls 8 Years.
- An official photographer may be in attendance.
