Conditions of meet:
• Age is at 15 February 2026.
• Entry fees – Individual events $7.50 per race. Pentathlon and mini-pentathlon $30.
• Results will be printed and made available on the day. Meet mobile will be used.
• Pentathlon Medals will be awarded to all participants in the Pentathlon and Mini-pentathlon events.
• Results for the Non-Pentathlon events will be published in Male & Female, Open for all 200m events and in the following Age Groups for 50m & 100m events: 9yrs & under, 10-11 Years, 12-13 Years, 14 years and over and Open age group for Multi-class swimmers. Medals will be awarded for first, second and third places in each age group.
• Pentathlon age groups as follows:
Pentathlon 14 & under; and 15 & over
Mini-pentathlon 10 & under; and 11-12
• There will be no less than 20 mins between pentathlon/mini pentathlon events.
• Results for the pentathlon events will be calculated using SNZ points.
• $50 cash prize for each skins event – male and female.
• Skins – selection will be based on the results of the 50m Freestyle event. The fastest 7 male and female swimmers will be selected and announced after the completion of this event. Scratching from this will be required within 30 mins of the announcement. If insufficient swimmers are eligible to compete in the skins event, this event may be cancelled.
• All events will be swum as mixed gender, timed finals.
• Swimmers may enter a maximum of 6 events (e.g. Pentathlon and 50m Free for skins).
• The organisers reserve the right to limit entries or alter the programme if the need arises.
• Entries must be submitted online through the SNZ database.
• No times WILL NOT be accepted for 200m races. Race secretaries must submit coach’s times via email within 24 hours of receiving psych sheets.
• The meet will be swum under World Aquatics, SNZ and local rules.
• This flyer, psych sheets and results will be available on the Swimming Manawatu website.
• Entries close Monday 9th February 2026 at 10.30pm.
• No refunds will be considered after the psych sheets have been compiled, unless accompanied by a medical certificate.
• Clubs are requested to provide one time-keeper per four swimmers entered.
Officials/Lunch Break after event 9.
Swimmers may warm up for the afternoon session during this time.
BBQ will be running throughout the meet
